Terrific twos!

Michael is officially TWO years old!
Time sure does fly with babies in the house!

I absolutely love and hate this age ;)
Michael is definitely growing to be his own individual person.  He can be so sweet and loving.  I am so excited for the person he is turning out to be.  I see him learning and connecting new ideas constantly.  He can form sentences, ask for what he wants, and explain why he's upset.  We can have conversations and I feel like the many hugs and kisses I get each day mean more now, probably because he's choosing to give them to me despite (or maybe because of) the tantrum he probably threw 2 minutes before.

Michael is independent and stubborn.  He knows what he wants and will find a way to get it.  He says "no" and "mine" more times in a day than I can count. But he also willingly shares most things he has if he's asked.  We're also in a throwing phase.  It's awesome that my kid can chuck a ball pretty far...but not so awesome that he chucks water bottles that accidentally land on his little brothers face. Yup, not fun. I guess it's all about learning whats "Ok" to throw, what's not, and where to do it! Such is the life of a toddler!

Mikey remembers to say prayers before meals, eats with silverware, (maybe feeds the dog in between..oops) and clears his table and puts his dishes in the sink.  It's amazing how much responsibility he can have and ENJOY (most of the time).

I have loved watching Michael grow the past two years (maybe more, because I enjoyed seeing him move in my belly too) and sometimes want time to slow so that he'll always want to cuddle me before bed and give me kisses in the store.  I, sometimes, find myself frustrated because he's lagging and we're late or he needs some extra snuggles before bed and I try to remember that all too soon, he won't want my snuggles anymore.  I'm enjoying my two year old, tantrums and all. Ok, I guess I could live with out the tantrums!

Love you little boy! You make life so much fun!
