Michael is seriously, the sweetest but craziest kid. Since he was born..or maybe could smile ;) People have told us how he has the happiest smile. And he does. My mil came over the other day and was talking about how you just can't be sad around him. It's so true. I have had many a day where I am upset or worried but when he's awake, it's mostly forgotten because he's saying silly things, tickling, singing, and doing his best to make everyone around him happy! In his baby blessing I believe it talks about the joy he will bring to people and I see it everyday, despite his sometimes apparent 2 year old nature. ;)
My mother in law and 3 brother in laws live .5 miles from us. They babysat the kids today so we could go on a date. BTO yogurt (with all the fixins) and super fries at Nico's, what more could a girl ask? It is so nice to be able to talk and have alone time with my husband.
Josh, Joe and I did some martial arts/kickboxing in the garage for our workout today. It can be so fun sometimes. We hope to eventually have our own place where Joe and Josh can teach. I also said that by then, I'll be fit enough to teach a cardio kickboxing class...I've got a long way to go BUT lots of support!
Michael and Conrad (an awesome 4 year old I just started watching during the school day) got along GREAT today. They played, kept each other occupied and had a great time despite the age difference. (It's also a huge blessing that I get to take another child into our home that is flexible and older!)
